About HotelsAhead - Marc Jongerius

Marc Jongerius (1972) is a seasoned hands-on professional that worked more than 10 years for Greenfield Capital Partners, a well-known private equity company in The Netherlands with a focus on unlocking the value- and growth potential of its portfolio companies. Prior to that, Marc worked for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC) in the auditing and M&A transaction serviced department. His clients were mainly large international enterprises.

In 2011, Marc joined HotelsAhead through a management buy-in, adding excellent entrepreneurial, analytical, financial and strategic skills to the team. Marc is passionate about creating new business models driven by opportunities from demographic developments, changing society and technological innovation. In his vision, long term sustainable value can be created through customer focus and elimination of waste.

To young entrepreneurs and start-ups, Marc acts as a coach in helping to determine the best business model and corresponding strategic and financial path. Furthermore, he is member of the investment committee of Karmijn Kapitaal, a Dutch based private equity company. Marc was educated at Erasmus University Rotterdam and Universite Paul Cezanne Aix-Marseille III.é
